Last minute might be a stretch, because I'm not really in a rush. I just don't want a good diamond to get away from me.

I was all set on this WF 1.22ct G SI1 (1.5 ex ex ex HCA). I'm going to ask the folks at WF to give me a second opinion on how eye clean it is. I was quite nervous when I was there on Friday.

Then after more reading and browsing on PS, I'm wavering like the French against an enemy. Should I spend a little more a get this WF 1.156ct ACA G SI1 (1.3 ex ex ex ex HCA)?

Or should I go with this slightly bigger and cleaner WF 1.246ct H VS2 (1.8 ex vg vg vg HCA)?

Should I stick to the one that originally spoke to me (as Brian said)?

As long as the first one 1.22ct one is eye-clean . . . I'd go with that one. It is the best value.

I agree, go with the original if it's eyeclean.

I'd stick with the original stone, too.

All of them look fabulous on paper.....so from that point, you really should trust your eye.  If the 1.22 G is the one that 'spoke to you', then you should go with that one.

I like them all, but I'd choose the H VS2 if it were for myself. That stone looks beautiful and is a nice size.

Little update....

Went with the original diamond, 1.22ct G SI1.  Thanks for everyone's input!  I'll write up a reveiw of my WF experience after I see the ring next week.

Now for the hard part, need to figure out how I want to do the proposal.

Thanks again,

Eric
