The H&A gimmick thread prompted me to ask this question as well. Of the branded H&A stones, how many are actually cut by the retailer, and how many are just receive passing grades by the retailer? Would any of the suppliers care to comment on how they obtain their branded H&A stones? I am assuming the vendors advertising non-branded H&A's have located reliable retailers who provide them with a consistency of quality stones. Is this what Whiteflash, Superbcert, EightStar, etc are doing as well? Or are all of their stones cut by cutters within their own organization? This may or may not be relevant, but curious to me. |

There happen to be many brands that get their diamonds via outside sources. EightStar and ACA brands cut their own stuff. Superbcert does not. The diamonds we inscribe with our UDIS logo are also sourced as I am not a cutter, just one heck of an anal buyer. ![]() Peace, Rhino Rhino |
