Could someone tell me if these prices are reasonable? I'm looking at the new Tycoon Cut diamond earrings which are 1/2 carat each, about G color, not sure on clarity- $5200. Pendant is .75 carat at same price. Are these overpriced based on the novelty of this cut??

Welcome aboard WB! Round Brilliants tend to command the highest $$ per carat. The prices you listed are considerably higher than RB pricing. You can get a decent G color 1.0+ ct stone in that same price range. The question only you can answer is, "Is the unusual cut worth the premium?" For my money, no, it's not. If you like something unusual, take a look at Whiteflash's Spring cut. It has some similarities to the Tycoon.
