GIA report dated 2004 – cause for concern? |

Should I be concerned with a GIA report dated June 2004? Is it typical for stones to sit around for 2 years without being purchased? |

Should not be a problem. Just take the same precautions you would with any diamond purchase. |

perhaps this stone was re -sold back after few years of beeing used?

Should be fine. There's a good chance the diamond was previously owned and traded in when someone decided to upgrade.

Is there a way to see the history of a stone? (Like seeing the history of a used car before purchasing....)
