Hi all - I've had this necklace almost 2 years now, and just realized that the diamond is not looking so hot. But with it so close to the pearl (which is in great shape), I'm not sure how to approach cleaning it. I tried to use my little toothbrush (dry) to clean the pavillion, but I'm not sure how much that helped. I know not to use anything harsh, but I would like to get the diamond to sparkle... What would you do?

use boiling water with some ammonia and detergent to clean your diamond jewels and when it is cool enough to just dip your finger in give the diamond a good scrub by wetting the tooth brush and scrubbing the diamond.
Wont hurt the pearl.
Rinse in warm water and dry well with tissue / cloth Garry Holloway FGAA DipDT |

Thanks Garry, I was worried about hurting the pearl, but will try this out!
