So just how bad of an idea is it to wear a gold wedding ring next to a platinum engagment ring? There's no engraving or diamonds on the sides of the e-ring. ![]() ETA: How about palladium??

Hey Indie, Here's a link to my thread when I was debating the same dilemma: link. I ended up buying a palladium band to wear with my white gold e-ring, don't think it will be a problem (and I haven't seen real proof otherwise!). Hope that helps! Oh, and referring to your other thread -- if you do end up getting mokume, post pics! I love mokume, but it's sooo pricey!

it is ok if you dont mind replacing rings after 10 years Paladium will not be much better - it will chew thru the gold too, unless it is a palladium based white gold alloy Garry Holloway FGAA DipDT |
