Hello Ladies! I just wanted to say hello. I found this board earlier in the week and have been looking at some of the dress topics. I have to say you all have some beautiful dresses and have given some wonderful advice. I myself have taken some of it into consideration. I have been trying to find that perfect gown, thru hours of searching and endless opinions too. Sometimes, I think I should just not ask for one from some people....unless she is a bride I don't think she understands! LOL I was wondering if anyone has any websites that sell Maggie Sottero's at a discount price or even a replica of maggie's is fine for me. I'm only wearing the dress for 1 day. I am looking to find the "Giselle". I am IN LOVE with that dress! I called a local salon and its price is $958. A bit more than I am willing to spend. Thanks for any info! I don't know if Netbride does this brand, but they worth checking out. I got my BM dresses from them and several PSers have used them too. Also, check eBay. I did a quick search and someone is selling that dress for $699 I believe, but you would have to look into the seller's reputation, etc. Finally, try Google for replicas and for used or sample dresses. There are several websites out there that have listings of dresses people are trying to sell that are used, samples, or from two dress brides ![]() Hope that helps! ________________________________ |

I'm pretty sure that Maggies aren't allowed to be discounted below a certain point. Ebay is a good bet. So is checking out the knot's dress board. There are always girls selling Maggies. Check out the dressesforsale bio. You also said you'd be ok with a replica, so you should check out juliusbridal.com. They'll make anything you want and their prices are awesome. There's a thread about them over at weddingchannel.com called Julius Bridal Anyone? It talks about everyone's experiences with them and you can even see some of the replicas that they've made in the pictures that the girls post.

Welcome! ![]() I looked for a price on http://www.jaysbridal.net/store/, and the Giselle is listed at $657.95 (plus you'd have to pay about $20 in shipping). I did not order from there, so I don't have first hand experience with them. However, it is an actual shop in Gainesville, FL. You have to 'register' to see the prices. If you sign up for their emails they will send you a coupon code each month for an additional 10% off. Like I said, I don't have any experience working with them ... but it might be a way to get the dress at a lower price. I bought my gown at a local shop, but told them the price for the dress that I was able to obtain online (from Jay's Bridal and from Pearl's Place). They knocked off 10% ~ not as cheap as I could have gotten online, but I felt better purchasing from someone local and the price of the hem and bustle was included. So, just something to consider ... Good luck!!!
