What do you think about this A Jaffe ring? Need to make the final call soon. Thanks.

I think it's lovely!  A pretty combination of classic and modern.  People have had good luck with A Jaffe's here.  They seem to be well-made, but also very reasonably priced.

I think what is important to remember is your gf's taste in rings.  I may like it, but do you think *she* will?  You could try to show it to her friends, sisters, mother, etc. to see if they think she will like it.

I like the look a lot -- the solitaire with a diamond band.  Very classic.  What I don't like is that curved wedding band.  I prefer being able to wear the WR alone.  Something like that would probably be better soldered together.  Some women prefer one ring, some prefer two.  Do you know what your gf prefers?

I like the look!  My concern would be about the small stones on the side of the engagement ring setting and whether the wedding band would *eat* them?  Hopefully there is some space between the two rings to prevent this.

They are beautiful rings, but I agree with the above...Not being able to wear the wedding ring alone if need be and the diamonds on the side of the e ring ri=ubbing against the wedding band.

Have you been able to look at it in person?

The diamonds eating the band would concern me..  Just take a careful look at the set in person to see if they rub or if there is a space between the bands.

I love the look with the curved wedding band.  Nice choice-very classy style. I have an A Jaffe shared prong eternity band - It has held up well for me.

Thanks for all the feedbacks. I called many places today and I finally found a place to take a look at the whole setting. I have to say it looks gorgeous!! The top view of the e-ring is very classy while the side view is a bit stylish. Before looking at the actual ring, I pretty much have all the concerns many of you bought up in the previous posts, especially how the band is going to look like when wearing alone. The little curve in the middle of the band is not as obvious or weird as I thought. So i think it is perfectly fine to wear it alone. Now I actually thinks it is very special. However, you should definitely buy the whole set; otherwise, any other wedding bands would make a gap in between two rings. The little curve in the middle of the wedding band was designed with a purpose so that both rings can fit perfectly together. I am not too sure about two rings rubbing against each other...well hopefully the guy who desinged this setting considered that...

Well I didn't really expect to happen today but at the end I bought the whole setting. Got a pretty fair price w/ no setting fee coz I bought the whole set together. So I gave them my stone and it will be ready in a few days. thanks everyone!!!
