Hey everyone!

I'd love to have your opinion on something....

This is the E-ring we're getting! We may get the squared off ends instead of the pointed though.
Also customizing it with two small stones on either side of the diamond on the outside:-)

I was looking into getting a custom band for it, but now I'm wondering if it would take away from the tension setting. It just looks so good alone as is! (I tried on a similar design I saw at a shop up here....still in the process of ordering the stone and getting it set!)

Bryan and I have been talking about doing the matching wedding band thing, which we both are very fond of. However, I would either be wearing my E-ring and band on separate hands, or just wearing the band alone depending on my activities.

Does anyone have a similar set up? (As in wearing your E-Ring on your right hand, and your band only on your left, or vice versa?) What do you guys think of this setup?

As for the wedding bands, I'm wondering if anyone has seen what I am looking for, or if I have to get it done custom....

This is a style we really like, with the matte look in the center. Of course, in mine I want diamonds:D Sort of like this, but all connecting baguettes instead....

Has anyone seen anything like this anywhere as a matching set? Lemme know what y'all think!
:-)

Thanks in advance!

My e-ring is also a stand alone ring.  I really debated what to do about it as well, and I think I am going to wear my rings on separate hands.  I still want to look married, but I don't want to detract from my e-ring.  I think I will wear my engagement ring on my right hand and my wedding band on my left.

I think it is a great idea.  My fi and I will most likely do the same thing.  I will get a diamond band to wear with my e-ring, and also a plain band to match my fi's, which I would wear to work/ times when I feel like going plain.  I think it is really nice to have a matching pair of bands.  As for the type of band you are looking for, I can't think of anything right now off the top of my head...maybe someone else can chime in here.

Kcoursolle: That's exactly what I think I am going to do! Thank you!

Dani: Thanks for writing! That's a good idea too!

Bling*Diva*: Oh wow! Now that is just cool! Originally, I wanted to have a white diamond set in Bryans ring on the inside. He doesn't want them on the outside, but I like dimonds for what they stand for I guess so I was trying to figure out what to do.

On the other hand, his color is blue and mine is orange. When I was a kid, I started to draw 'partners' in orange and blue....or hearts with blue and orange halfs. To me in symbolised my soulmate and I. I was actually trying to figure out how to work that into my ring....but figured I couldn't because it wouldn't match what I was wearing everyday. Now, I have this idea....it's PERFECT! Thank you so much for linking this!!!!

Starspun...that would be so cool to have his ring with a orange diamond on the inside and yours have a blue one.  I love how the little things can mean so much.  Can't wait to see what you come up with.

here we go - it's a bit different, but you can get some idea of what a matching band might look like (just cover one side of this up).... I think a ring like that is more stand alone and honestly IMO more of a RHR style - but obviously there are those who disagree!!! hahaha ;)

I agree, but I also think I wouldn't want to wear my e-ring on my right hand, I'm a little traditional, so I want to wear my e-ring and w-ring together.

StarSpun, if you dont mind wearing your e-ring as a RHR then it'd be cool to have matching bands custom made with the blue and orange stones, let us know what you decide.. or maybe you can have custom made matching bands that also match your e-ring

You know - I have a ring like the one she likes except it has like a 10 pointer oval in it (tiny!) and I have worn it before with my band and it's not a traditional flush fit but it's not a bad look either if you want to go a little outside the box... I'd definitely get a live look at it before deciding though.  But really, there's NOTHING that says you can't wear a passing tension with a plain round band.

I believe that my e-ring is a stand-alond ring as well but I didn't always think that. I got a thin eternity band that does sit flush but after wearing if for about a month alongside my e-ring, I just decided I don't like the look. It makes my e-ring band look thicker and I don't like the thought of the two rings rubbing against each other, as the e-ring is a 3 sided diamond shank. So I wear my e-ring on my left hand and my w-band on my right. I don't want to wear the e-ring on the right because I am right handed and I don't want to knock around my diamond anymore than I have to to.
