I ran across a cute picture as I was surfing one day that showed how the shadow of a ring could form a heart shape. I tried taking a picture of my e-ring today and it came out great! Just thought it was a fun thing to share. ![]() Now if only I hadn't picked the page in the book that mentions E. Coli... How unromantic!

That's so cool! I've never heard of that. How did you do it?

It wasn't too hard, I think you just need a book that lays fairly flat (my ring isn't very heavy and didn't hold down the pages very well). Orient the book so that your light source casts the shadow in the right direction, and carefully balance the ring until you get the heart shadow. These are the webpages I saw the pics on: Link 1 Link 2 It probably works better with a wedding band. I'll try it out and see if it works (although I'm technically not supposed to be wearing it yet! )

I saw one fairly similar... instead of being a ring it was a piece of red glass in a coin shape and it left a red heart reflection... I have it on my other computer, I'll post it later :)
