buying a ring for wife's 40th,(which I have mentioned in other posts) :) The resources and other links are very helpful. I wanted to get a quick list of the National Brick and Mortar Jewelers(ex. Jareds), Also, besides the different sponsors and links, are there online stores that people recommend.? Thanks!

it depends on what you're looking for, and to a lesser degree, where you are located ![]() colored stone or diamond, totally custom setting or brand name...

i own a zales signature cut - meets pricesopers standards, very pleased. the IGI cert says I color, i believe it is a low J. make sure you don't confuse this with "the Zales Diamond". not the same thing. i have been impressed with helzberg diamond masterpiece and GIA certed stones. i own a helzberg uncerted pear, with uncerted I-1 stones on the wrap, in the avatar. if you ask to see the rings that are 18K you will see the better stones. i have been impressed with jared's ags certed stones, HOF and regular ole stones. i would do business with all three.
