it seems i've forgotten how to get pictures up. if one of you kind ladies (or gentlemen) could help out, i would greatly appreciate it. anyway- here is my e-ring. (before i met pricescope) http://store.jrdunn.com/product-p/nl00r21035617001pjrd.htm since it's got that 3way shank, i didn't want to add a w-band to that. shopping around for w-bands, though, i came across this vera wang beauty.. http://calvinsjewelry.com/Images/Products/Large/3143.jpg thought it would be cute since we're, you know.. tying the KNOT and all ![]() i thought about using it for the ceremony, and occasionally wearing it on my right hand. but- it's sterling silver. your thoughts? |

The ring is pretty, but it's not my taste. To me it seems to ornate for your wedding band. My ring is a very simple small (3mm) platinum band. To me it symbolizes the very clean and simple truth of our marriage. Now don't get me wrong, I also have a very nice eternity band (thank you signed pieces) that WAS going to be my wedding band, until I realized that there might be times (gardening, running, doing other messy/busy things) that I might not want to be wearing diamonds. I love that my ring can be worn anywhere and anytime. It is completely timeless. I wonder if you wouldn't get tired of the knot after a while... |

I'm not a fan. I usually go for 'simple' but I prefer the first ring you posted. Legally cohabitated |

thank you for your honest replies. i didn't get that band. i thought it was so cute anyway. i ended up getting a simple but unique 2mmtitanium band (they're on their way, hope to get pics up soon) and jaders - i saw it on calvinsjewelry.com. under the brand names tab, click on vera wang- it's the very last ring at the bottom. $90. the white gold/diamond one is sold out! so pretty though. i've always had a thing for ribbons and bows.

I like the Vera wang ring, but not for a wedding ring. I think you made a good choice going for the 2 mm band. Can't wait to see it!

I like your 2mm titanium choice! On the SS wedding band front. My sister and her husband have matching sterling silver wedding bands and love them! My father's current wedding band is sterling silver as well and it's his favorite of all the rings he's gone through. (who the heck leaves their wedding band on top of a rental car anyway??) ************************ |

Roo, I forgot to ask...if you have any pictures of your ering, I'd love to see them! I saw an ad for the calla cut awhile back, but I have yet to see pictures of an actual ring that has them!

"of all the rings he's gone through.." lord help me!i'm real excited to get the wedding bands. FG, i don't have anything HQ, but i'll try to find the picture i have and send it to you. that little picture really doesn't do it any justice. it sparkles like mad and it's a very unique look for an e-ring. little by little though, i'm introducing my FI to the idea of an upgrade.. altho i'm very happy with what he gave me.
