I am considering the following fancy yellow that has a GIA report: Cut-cornered Rectangular Modified Brilliant 7.78 x7.15 x4.38 2.20 carat Depth 61.3% Tble 70% Medium to Very Thick Girdle No cutlet Good Symmetry and Polish VVS1 national Fancy Yellow Even Distribution No Fluorescence No comments It does show slightly deeper than a comparable 2.0 carat which was at the same location. I saw a setting I like but that vendor only sells his stuff already set. Leaves me in a quandry to permit someone else to make a similar ring or keep shopping. Once you see something you lie, though, it's hard to get it out of your mind. the price for the above stone was $6400 per carat. /s/Kathy |

It is very hard to answer such a question - but it is competitve with similar graded stones on the market.
