I get 3 11x17 enlargements from my photographer and I need help choosing 3! Most of my favorite pics are the closeups/detail pics and I don't know if they'll look good as 11x17 pics. most of my faves are here http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=49565&forumID=6&catID=&search=1&searchstring= and i'll post my particular faves of my hubby and i in this thread. help me please! i've had a hard time picking, hubby is uninterested of course and i've procrastinated too long! #1  #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8 #9 #10 #11 #12 This is the only one of the bhuddist ceremony that i like that shows our faces. all the other ones are either show just him or just me. But i think this one is waaaaaay too close up for a blow up. I think the heads may become larger than life and that would be weird. anyway....HELP! |

I love #7 and the last one from the Buddhist ceremony!!! I like them all, but those are the two that really stand out for me.

Oh man... they are all great shots, but I have to say I love #8... it has a 1950's/Parisian/sexy romance thing going on that i just LOVE. You cant see your faces, and I think that adds to the romantic mystery!!! Its so elegant. I also love #7... it looks like you all are glowing with the city!

hand down my favorite when you posted it the first time and still now- is the one of you too by the bus - subway or whatever. i think it's #8. there's a lampost next you yall and the pics in black and white. I LOVE this one! it's the most perfect picture- ever. i also like the one above it. it's in color and he's picked you up and there's a building behind you. then i like the second to last one. with you and him at the hotel against the curved wall. honorable mention goes to the one in color where you two are against the doors. yall are touching heads. you bouquet is up and over his sholder. i think it's # 9.

Oh, geez, Ginger, I TOTALLY understand why you are having a hard time making a decision on this. ALL of your pics are gorgeous!! But, I have to say, my favorites out of the pics you posted are #2, #8, and #9. I happen to like the more romantic shots- all of yours are just so beautiful....Those are the ones that I would choose though if it were my choice. Good luck!

#9, #4, and #12 er...what are you going to do with the pics?? I can really see #12 as a desktop/office photo. I can see all of them as office desk photos. I adore #12, it's just so gorgeous and touching, plus it shows both of your beautiful faces off wonderfully, and my favorite part about it is his cute smile. #9 looks unplanned and intimate and so very loving. #4 I like because it'll remind you of how happy you were at that moment and of all the wonderful friends and family who gathered to share in that joy!

I'm a sucker for more impressionistic less "specific" shots. From a purely artistic/strangers would enjoy the picture on a wall point of view ... I like these #1 ... open door ... seemingly captured private moment ... the glass panes #4 ... action ... unduplicatable ... rose petals in motion ... you guys smiling #8 ... gorgeous classic shot ... agree with the famous shot comparisons #11 ... different than the rest in that it's more magazine layout modern p.s. -- I don't like the car shots for blow ups ... seems too "showy" less emotional. They're gorgeous & different ... I just get an uncomfortable "look at the money" vibe from them that isn't present in all the other shots.

And this one too ... some people call it "impressionistic" some people call it "blurry". My DH & I sadly fall on different sides of this matter. He HATES the fuzzy distorted actiony ones & I LOVE LOVE LOVE am OBSESSED with them.

I'll echo everyone else, and say that I can see why you're having a hard time choosing! I said it in you're other thread and I'll say it again here...you're pictures are gorgeous! I don't think you can go wrong no matter which ones you choose, but here are my personal favs: #2 because it looks like we're peering into a private moment and because it's captured in such an artistic way #3 because I just love the composition of the photo- the building in the background with all the lights on and you guys dipping/kissing in the perfect spot in relation to it- it's aesthetically pleasing and interesting to look at #8, #9, #11 and #12 because I love the composition of these shots and the emotion captured in all of them On a side note, I love how you used kissing balls to line the aisle! You totally inspired me to do that for our wedding, and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind if I used one of your pictures in my knot bio (If your pictures are copyrighted, or if you just prefer that I don't, I totally understand)! Thanks!

If you made me pick: 1,4,12 Also like: 8,11. As photographs, I like #1 and #4. 1 is one of my favorites, but your presence is more subtle than in some of the other more-sledgehammer style photos. But maybe you want you two to be the focus, and the LOOK THIS IS ROMANTIC! style is what you are after? I love 4, flower petals and smiles!, but the focus looks a little dicey as posted and it might not be up for blowing up. My subs for either of those would be 8 (great B&W with emotion). My next choice was 12, but I have your concern that 11x17 might be a bit big for the faces. See if you can get in on a monitor blown up to that size to tell if you like it. I also like 11, the color is great, but the focus again I'm not sold on. The photog seems to be doing this on purpose to get you guys romanically in the distance, but he is close to that fine line deco mentioned between softly wonderful and annoyingly blurry.

i love them all, but i especially like #8 and #9 for an enlargement of that size- even though you can't really see your faces, they strike me as sort of 'art prints' that would look striking on a wall they are gorgeous photos-
