I was searching on dirtcheapdiamonds.com today and found this diamond:

Laboratory: GIA
Carat Weight: 1.5
Color: F
Clarity: IF
Shape: Emerald
Depth: 70.6%
Table: 70%
Polish: GD
Symmetry: GD
Culet: NO
Girdle: TN-STK
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 10.07x4.66x3.29

And it costs 7,808! This is very much in my price range but I feel that there's a catch. Could someone tell me what they think? Am I missing something? Is this the "one"???

Thank you all!

this is from gemappraisers.com and shows you about what it will look like, ratio wise.... it is very very long... it might be nice set east west though!!  You could get reall creative wth the setting.... I wouldn't set it n/s though, I'd worry about hitting it.

Julie is right. Go to the shape selector site (link), select the icon for the emerald cut and put in the dimensions. It is a bit slim...
