headlight Ideal Rock Total Posts: 656 Last Post: 8/19/2009 Member Since: 11/2/2003	What is a fair fee to pay a jeweler to re-size a ring? I realize this can be affected regionally, so specifically I'm thinking in terms of the two coasts -- New York City area and Southern California. Thank you!

Cal charges $90 which I thought was a lot, but now that I hear these other examples I guess it is "somewhat" competitive (but still a little high, IMO). Honestly, I think it shouldn't run more that $40-50.
