One is GIA very good cut but with a better HCA score than the EX cut one. Is the shallower crown and crown angle not so great? Thanks! A) 1.00 carat G SI1 eyeclean 6.4-6.47-3.97 GIA Excellent cut VG polish VG symmetry depth 61.8% table 57% no fluor. crown angle 34 pavillion angle 40.8 crown height 14.5% pav. depth 43% the dimensions, crown and pavillion angles all fall in AGA 1A category HCA score is 1.1, all excellent except for spread which is VG. B) 1.05 carat G SI1 eyeclean 6.59-6.54-3.98 GIA Very Good cut Very good polish Good symmetry depth 60.7% table 57% no fluor. crown angle 32.5 pavillion angle 40.8 crown height 13.5% pav. depth 43% AGA 1A for all, except crown angle which is 2A, and crown height at 1B HCA score is 0.9, again all excellent except for VG spread.

pinkrose Rough Rock Total Posts: 67 Last Post: 12/4/2006 Member Since: 10/3/2006	I just listed the angles. They are not too different, but the one with EX cut scores lower than the VG cut on HCA. Ones slightly bigger, but the other one will prob. sparkle more.
