Ok, so a few weekends ago I went dress shopping and I tried on this dress. It's a Maggie Sottero that's been discontinued. Any idea what it is? This one was a size too big and was a sample so it was dirty and missing beads, but I'd like to try and find another. There's beading around the top, the waist and the hemline.

Is this it? "Satin Temptation"?? It is a gorgeous gown- and looks good on you. I'm a huge Maggie fan, the corset back is fabulously flattering, and i think with a 2 piece it would be even more comfortable! Yay! Thanks guys! That's it! Now I can try to see if anyone else has it. I really liked it at the store and the price was amazing (super clearance for $149), but I was worried I wouldn't be able to match the beads and that the dirt and stains wouldn't come out. I'm going to try to find one that's in better shape and that fits better.

yowza! that is an incredible deal on this dress. mmmm....it may be worth getting a seamstress and/or dry cleaner's opinion on whether or not you could fix/match the beading and get the stains out. i'm wondering even if a seamstress could suggest a way to complement the existing beads? but if it needed major alterations anyway it still might not be worth it. good luck- i'm on ebay quite a bit lately so will keep my eye out as well
