If there is anyone out there... I am looking to pick up a set of round diamon studs for a wedding gift.  I am sure the answers to my questions will be opinion based but thats what I am looking for I guess.  I was about to purchase a 1.0 ct tw or a 1.5 ct tw.  Would an I color be noticable?  I am guessing that since it is on her ear it would be less noticable than if it was on her hand   I would like to get her a set in this TW but i dont want to spend a fortune.  any advice on where i can float around the 4c's and still get a quality stone.  any help would greatly be appreciated.

thanks!

this place ROCKS!  no pun intended

I is cool.

While any of the recommended vendors could hook you up with a pair, many people have bought from Whiteflash.  It just sort of depends on who has a matching set of what you're looking for.

(1)What's your Budget?

I reccommend WF just because i purchased studs for Regina from them and we are both very happy and when we want to upgrade we can.

I would say "I" is a great choice and if you focus on CUT the stones will sing facing up just beautifully. Because your choosing earrings, I would say go with si-1 or maybe even si-2's stones to help stretch your budget. Normal viewing distance for someone admiring earrings is further than the general viewing distance for someone looking at a diamond set in a ring. Because each stone is under the carat mark you can get away with diamonds of lower clarity.

Let us know your budget and we can help more...

Blue Nile doesn't have an upgrade, trade-up, buy back policy.  But that isn't important to everybody.

I see Whiteflash's Expert Selection 1.5 tw is in budget; upgrades are only on stones you pick yourself

But for stones you pick yourself, it seems that .7+ cts would be a little hard to stay under 4K.  .65-.70 would be good for your budget, but also hard to find stones in that carat weight it seems.
