I saw a brown diamond ( don't remember when or where ) for $100,000! Pear shape about 3.5 ct (I think) if I remember correctly IF don't know color rating, but it was fancy dark brown. could it really be worth that much?

No way!!!! IF clarity is *extremely* rare in brown colors, but I don't think a stone like that could cost something even close to 100'000... If it were dark brownish pink, maybe, but if it's just simple, plain brown without modifying hues, NO! Giangi _____________ |

Also, it wasn't a store, I think it was show or something, but it wasn't at a store.

There's not a 3.5 ct brown diamond alive in the world today worth that much money.

It really depends on the color and the modifying hue...

Maybe if you bought it at the mall. I agree with Rich, that sounds very fishy.
