aislingmaire Rough Rock Total Posts: 48 Last Post: 9/21/2005 Member Since: 2/26/2002	In a K color diamond will Strong Blue flourescence be visible to the naked eye? I know that flourescence balances the lower colors, but do lower colors lessen flourescence? Thanks Jackie S

newenglandgemlab Cut Rock Total Posts: 298 Last Post: 12/30/2007 Member Since: 1/16/2003	Hi, Fluorescence may make a lower color appear better to the naked eye, as long as it is not too strong. The lower the color doesn't effect the amount of fluorescence in a stone. It seems that some lower colored diamonds are more apt to have fluorescence from what I have seen over many years-just my opinion.
