It was kind of funny because I broke my foot 3 weeks ago, so I have to wear this big boot thing on my foot. The saleswoman at BBB, who was also the manager, had broken the SAME BONE in the SAME FOOT ALSO 3 WEEKS AGO and was wearing the SAME BOOT! It was too weird. We actually had a lot of other things in common too. If I didn't like her so much, I probably wouldn't have stayed in the store so long. Anyway, I ended up with 3 pretties. First is the aquamarine ring (don't know carat wt., but it said 8 mm on the tag). It's a square emerald cut. Sorry that doesn't come across so well in this pic. It was hard to photograph. The prong isn't crooked; it just looks that way from the angle I took the pic. It has .5 ctw of diamonds too on the shank. It also has milgraining and engraving. It's very pretty. Second, I bought a new w-band. I had bought my last one from Ross-Simons online a few months ago, but it was bothering me. The quality of the diamonds was SO BAD. The saleslady at BBB looked at it through the loupe and said all the diamonds were very included. I already knew this, but it was just a temporary band. We bought a thinner diamond band at BBB just like the old one, but the diamonds are better quality (G/H color, SI clarity). It's .25 ctw. in the w-band and 18K white gold. It's a size too big, but they didn't have a smaller size, and I wanted to wear it home. Since it's an eternity band, I can't size it, but the saleswoman told me to get sizing beads put in. I've never done this before, but she said she's done it a lot. I figured it's better to have a ring be too big (in case I happen to gain weight later on). The band is less than 2 mm in width, just like my e-ring. The third item is a diamond tennis bracelet. It's 1.8 ctw (very thin on the arm), 4-prong and 7", H/I color and I1 clarity. I knew the clarity was low, but because the diamonds are so small, you can't see inclusions. It's so sparkly. It's really well made (18K WG) and has this cool, flex-like quality. Hope you like!

And I love the delicate w-band... it goes really well with your e-ring (looks like a set!) and really makes the center stand out. (I've just gone to look at your new halo e-ring, it's gorgeous... another solid reason for a halo on a thin shank!) Talking about ring sizing, check out this ring resizing liquid that I read about in Lucky this afternoon! I might get some to try on a couple of my mom's rings .
