New here. Was wondering if someone could tell me if a ring exists with a center round solitaire flanked by heart cut diamonds exists. I have seen three stone rings in all round or round with pear or trillion but never with hearts. Will this have to be a custom ring? I can't believe I am the first one to think of it, or is there some apparent flaw in this design?
Thanks,
Eric

I am from the United Kingdom. The Countess of Wessex, Sophie Rhyss Jones married into the Royal Family - Prince Edward, has a ring like this. In the newspapers it was stated as being a 2 carat round but did not give the carat weight of each heart on either side. I will see if I can find a photo link on the internet.

Here is one but not a very clear shot

It will have to be a custom ring as I do not believe there are stock components ready for heart shaped side stones in a solitaire style ring already pre-fabricated. It is not a major undertaking, but just a variation on using pear shape sides. A good craftsman could create this without a problem. Getting two well cut and identical heart shapes in the size and quality you need may prove more difficult than making the mounting.
