I'm watching one of those shows with funny wedding clips. One just showed a little boy singing along to "Hang On Sloopy" while the whole wedding looked on. At a specific point in the chorus, the boy and all the guests spelled out Ohio, complete with hand motions. Does anyone know the origin of this? It reminded me of a state's version of the words my friends and I always add to "Mony Mony. ![]()

That is so funny you bring this up! One of my best friends married a guy from Ohio and they did this during the reception. I guess it is a tradition but I have no idea of the origins. Nicole
