My fiance and I are planning a wedding mid-way between my family in Chicago and her family in Waterloo,IA. We were thinking of getting married around Galena, IL. Has anyone gotten married in or around Galena that knows of a nice place? The Ramada looks like a nice option but I haven't seen it in person yet or heard anything about it. Hi, have you been to the knot? They love grooms over there... just post on one of the local IL boards and they'll probably be able to help you. Put something like "Desperate Groom Needs Venue Help."
