Hi, I want to buy a 1ct. Princess Diamond. Please help me out on this one. What should be the table range and the depth range for a really good diamond? I have no clue what to look at or anything of that sort. I want to be able to go into the jewelery store without them taking advantage of me. Please help me. PS, I already have the ring....i'm missing the diamond. I will post a pic up of both as soon as I get the diamond.

it has been my experience that jewelry stores carry very poor princess cuts. most of them are going to be cut for weight at the expense of performance. they will be quite shallow and have large tables.... not pretty.![]() if you want to know you are getting a great perfomer, look for an ags (american gem society) lab graded princess. look for the '0' grading in light performance and you will be getting the best of the best. i think the national chain 'jareds' is carrying ags graded diamonds now. it is worth a look.
