Well, after many hours of surfing, shopping the stores, and speaking with friends I finally made the plunge and purchased a stone yesterday.

It's in a 3 Stone Boston Setting (Platnum)
Side stones are RB F VS2 Total ct wt is .56

There aren't any distinguishing characteristics from what I can see. It seems that around the Boston area that is what they call the classic 3 stone setting.
