San Diego Married Lady!! :-D

Hellooooo!! Well, this is only going to be a very brief hello and I'm off again tomorrow for our mini honeymoon.

My new daughter and I stayed downtown within about 5 minutes walking distance of the yacht. We had a beautiful northwestern view of all of downtown San Diego, North Island, Point Loma, the Bay and everything in between.

We finally got to sleep Friday night in our very cool room about midnight. At 205am, I woke up WIDE AWAKE.. it took over an hour to get back to sleep.. I remember looking at the clock at 3:18.. I was awake again just before 0700.. We ordered room service, and I washed and did Julie's hair, and did her make up. She looked fabulous. I washed my hair the night before, per my stylists orders and so I shower capped my hair, took a quick shower and threw on my jammies again and did my make up.

My stylist & photographer and then sister and MOH showed up.. after I got my gown on, we walked to the yacht. I felt like a celebrity. It was actually really fun. LOL

Julie & I remoted over to the Broadway Pier, where we were stowed away in the cabin under deck while everyone boarded. It was fun to peek out the curtain & port hole to watch everyone board. We left the pier and moved over in front of the Star of India, where I was called up for the ceremony. It was fantastic. Everyone in their finery, it was SO COOL!! Steve, our attendants and the Captain all at the bow of the yacht. Steve was simply beaming. My friend gave me away, it was beautiful and eloquent.

I could not stop grinning & giggling. It was silly, but so fun. When it came time to exchange rings, I had previously told the Captain to palm me Steve's ring so he didn't see it. OH MY STARS! HE WAS SOOO SURPRISED!! The look on his face was PRICELESS! He was completely shocked. He loved it and everyone who was in on the secret of his cable band was laughing. It made the whole ceremony that much more incredible. Steve got all teary and it was fantastic. It couldn't have been more perfect.

The crew of the yacht were amazing & attentive. The weather was perfect, the luncheon was delicious, the cake fabulous!! Everything was amazing. Everyone loved everything.

Steve's Mother spoke to me ONCE the entire time. No congratulations, nothing. My sister was standing near her outside the deck when she asked her husband IF THEY COULD CALL THEIR DOG AT DOGGIE DAYCARE. She did NOT stay for photos afterward because she wanted to get back to her DOG. UGH!!!

It was pretty much the only glitch the entire time..

It was beautiful.. I don't have pictures, but will have at the end of the week.. I PROMISE!!
