Now that I got my beautiful superbcert diamond I'll probably turn into a lurker more than a poster. Have to catch up on all the work I missed

But, I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped eductate me about diamonds. I saved several thousand dollars AND got a much better stone. With infinite money, my fiance and I have decided we'd still have picked the stone we did, and that feels good.

Round Brilliant 1.73 E VS1 Superbcert

How I did it (condensed version because the whole story is a long long long read )
---------------------------------------------------
On valentines day, I had sunset reservations at a nice restaurant overlooking the ocean. We got there early to have cocktails and I had a seperate, private table set up in an enclosed garden-type area. The table was in front of a fireplace and viewed a pretty fountain and garden plants. When the moment was right, I gave my purposal speech and took out the ring. We then returned to our table to watch the sun set on the water. Afterwards, we checked into the four seasons where I had a rose petal trail leading to a heart made out of petals on the bed. We enjoyed chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling cider (we don't like champagne or wine ). We danced to romantic music before retiring to bed. And of course, breakfast in bed the next morning was a must.

Congratulations!!! The story sounds amazing..very private and romantic. I bet she swooned over the rock. Now she gets to start planning the wedding...yikes. I am starting to get involved in this now for our wedding...starting with finalizing the budget....always scary.

Good luck!!

If I read right your post Lugus, I understand that you went to
bed WITH her? aren't people supposed to not sleep in the same
bed until the honeymoon?
