Zachscott Rough Rock Total Posts: 28 Last Post: 6/9/2004 Member Since: 2/11/2003	Two stones .835 6.03x6.05x3.73 HCA E/E/E/VG 1.3 .816 6.10x6.11x3.68 HCA E/E/E/E 1.3 It seems to me that assuming that both have the same density that the .816 stone would be better becuase more of the stone would be visible in a setting. Is this theory correct?

Maybe Gary (HCA inventor) could give you his comments as to if you would 'see' them due to the the spread difference that these stones have. .835 = HCA spread VG .816 = HCA spread EX Your turn Gary! But whether or not your eye will catch the difference is another story. Would be interested in knowing more about the dimensions (table, depth etc) of the stone as that will give people a chance to respond on each stone beyond just which one will look bigger. Stone #1 could be cut a little too deep resulting in some carat weight loss in the pavilion, or stone #2 could be a little shallow resulting in slighty larger spread (visual enlargment to the eye).
