Well sort of, almost, SO close! We went to Canada on vacation and I had NO idea that Pearlman's is in Michigan. I saw the name on this site a lot, even checked out their website but never paid any attention to where they are located. On the highway in Michigan driving to and from Canada, we saw bill boards on the interstate advertising Pearlman's jewelers. And then we drove right past the exit  I tried to get my husband to pull over just so I could window shop and see what eveyone said was so great but he would not! I was SO close, we drove right past it TWICE going to Canada and coming home from Canada. I don't live in Michigan so its a LONG way from my house to get to Pearlmans. We had a great vacation and probably will go back next summer to Canada. I'll have to start working on my husband weeks ahead so he will stop! he is one of those people that when he is on a schedule, nothing will stop him and Pearlmans was not on the schedule. Anyway, I knew you all would get my excitement over seeing the signs on the highway for Pearlman's having not realized it was even in Michigan. They have a HUGE canary ring on their highway billboard. |

Don't you just love billboards. I know when I was driving down to Delaware from Canada, every jewelers billboard I saw I was like hmmmmm haven't seen or heard of that name on PS - lol So I guess I just didn't get to the right places, eh?  Oh well, someday I am going to go to GOG and Pearlmans...right dear?   giggleWifey2b Wifey2b :} |

assherisme, aren't those signs great? The first time I went to Pealmans we were actually in chicago and hubby decided to take a trip up to saugatuck, MI which he found in a magazine. I looked at the map and realized it was only 1.5 hours from Pearlmans. I could not be that close and not go. We drove over and only had about 10 minutes, just enough time to say hi and not much looking  . I live in TN so i wouldn't be anywhere close anytime soon. I got to go again last Christmas b/c my in-laws live about 45 minutes away and I made a point of taking my sister in law with me and we ended up staying several hours . it's located in the cereal capital of the US, kellog's and post, you'll see a big tony the tiger and they have a really cute downtown. It's not far off the interstate so tell you hubby to plan a little lunch stop there and he can eat while you go and look at jewelry but let me tell you, you head will be spinning with all of the settings he's got in there .

You and Storm make a great couple, wifey2b!!! Gosh, my husband and I are like that. He wouldn't have wanted to stop either. He always wants to beat his own time. You know, see how fast we can get somewhere. HOWEVER, I would have had a FIT if I was passing the Pearlman's exit and I would have thought of a bribe to make him stop! Lol!

Yes dear, an important lesson to learn early on :) Sounds like we were crossing the border in the opposite direction at the same time LOL. I have relatives on Long Island. Hmmm, I sense another field trip coming on!

:) Nah, after 11 years of marriage, fluttering the eyes does not work anymore. But ask my kids who is in charge and they will tell you in a heartbeat that MOMMY is in charge LOL. See I have very smart kids :) OH and when we went to Canada we were on a roadtrip. But when we go to Long Island, we are staying with relatives for a few days. AKA, I have access to the car and can grab one of my husbands sisters and see, See ya later to the honeys :)
