 Please explain about a natural vs indented natural.

 		I have a princess cut diamond that my husband purchased for me that had a natural and an indented natural. Due to the indented natural, there was a jetting point which did not allow it to be set without the chance of chipping. We had it polished (which was not cheap) and I was not very happy with the weight loss and change in shape. Please explain the difference. I don't want to make another mistake!!!!
