Hi
Does anyone have any pictures of 'martini' set diamond stud earrings?
This is a new term to me and I was wondering does it make the stones look larger?

I LOVE mine too!  They do seem to make the stone look larger because there is so little metal and what metal there is basically is sitting "in" the piercing.  I don't have a great picture but like belle said there are TONS of posts on this.

I think you have to decide whether you like the look of three prongs. I went to a jewelery store this week and looked at earrings, and I honestly did not like the look of three prongs. I prefer symmetry and for me that means an even number. I'd be glad to have martini earrings made with the 4th prong added. It is nice how they sit low in the earlobe. Oh, and I did not feel they made the diamond look larger. As a matter of fact, you will hear people on here say they think 6 prongs makes a diamond look larger than 4!  So I wouldn't go by that at all! Prong tips should be small on earrings and not have any effect on the size appearance.

~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~
