Hey guys,

I've read all the forums on Leo Diamonds and now I'm not so sure how much I like my ring or the price!!! Wehn I was ring shopping with my fiancee I also liked the masterpiece from Helzberg. They say those diamonds are perfectly cut, but I'm not sure how reliable that is. Can anyone give me any feedback on which would be a better investment of money in the long run??? Any info is greatly appreciated.

dang, ate my post, try again

i would choose helzberg diamond masterpiece. BTW, regular helzberg stones are good too, if you ask to see the ones in 18k gold. do your homework so you know what a good stone looks like.

diamonds are a poor investment, meaning if you drive it off the lot, it is worth 1/4 what you paid for it. I encourage buying secondhand stones, and putting in fresh settings.

you can buy used stones for:
1/4 carat $100
1/3 about $150
1/2 carat 500
.75 $1000
1 carat 2000 ish

Or you can buy excellent hearts and arrows diamonds from online jeweler's such as Good Old Gold, White Flash, etc., and get outstanding ceritfied ideal cut diamonds without overpaying. That was my personal choice.

~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~
