to Jersey! M's parents are flying us all out this weekend to celebrate our birthdays. Mine was on Sunday, and M's is this Saturday. The big 3-0...Anyway I was bummed I couldn't see him last weekend but there was no way he would have been able to fly out here. So, we're having a birthday weekend starting tonight! He did send me two dozen sweetheart roses (24 for my 24th) and chocolate covered strawberries...yummy and so sweet (no pun intended there.) We're flying out tonight, celebrating my birthday tomorrow, celebrating M's on Saturday, going to the Yankees/Sox game (GO CUBBIES!), and he's got another birthday surprise lined up for me on Saturday night. Don't get all excited girls, I'm not expecting a proposal...but his best friend found out about something going on in Manhattan and they both think I will 'absolutely flip.' I probably will...he knows me so well and I'm just happy I haven't figured it out yet. If I don't accidentally stumble on it myself someone will always tell, therefore it is impossible to surprise me. I'm just thrilled that I actually have no clue what they have planned! As long as M's parents, best friend or his girlfriend don't tell me before Saturday night we're good. =) So we'll see...it should be fun. =) He's mentioned that he wants to talk to his mom about the family diamond and us getting engaged, but we both know what she'll say. We need to live in the same state again before we go down that road.  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I'm looking forward to lots of happy stories when I get back! I gotta finish packing...3 hours to go!~Megan =) |

Thanks girls, it was a wonderful weekend. The big surprise was a pair of earrings to match the necklace he gave me for our anniversary in March, and a Boyz II Men concert in Manhattan. It was so fun. It's always great to see him and I hate leaving, but you gotta do what you gotta do. It was really nice for both of us to spend time with his parents, too. He talked a lot about our wedding which is so exciting but almost sad at the same time since it won't happen until at least 2008 some time which is fine, but we don't want to get engaged until we're in the same state again and can plan the big day within 6 months to a year. =) Anyway, it was great...I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend too!
