Does anyone on this website know what AGL includes in their basic certification on colored gemstones and the cost of the certificate. I am thinking of having my stone evaluated and would like to know what they include on the certificate and the cost. Thanks much

Thanks much It depends on the size and type of stone, and the type of report requested. Last I checked they don't have a website, just call and discuss what your options are. Cost isn't out of line with what a similar AGTA report costs.

Here's an article on "understanding the AGL report": http://www.preciousgemstones.com/AGLCERT.HTML You'd have to call for prices. Rich, Independent GG Appraiser |
