I haven't seen it in person, but I heard it is so stunning and breathtaking! It was back in August when I first showed her pictures of GOG's square hearts and arrows and some halo settings and she fell in love with the look. She's usually more into simple, understated, sorta minimalistic type of jewelry so I was surprised she wanted such a look for her ering, but I think it turned out perfect. She never told her boyfriend exactly what cut she wanted but I made sure he knew. Haha. It is a ritani setting that was "custom" made for the diamond, size 3.5. If I recall correctly, the center stone is .85 E VS1.

I love that Ritani and the stone looks delicious! yum! There's a gal in my office with a ring JUST like that. I was hearing from several people what an amazing e-ring she had, so I finally hunted her down and asked her, "hey I hear you got an AMAZING engagement ring! Congratulations!! Can i see it?" It's the only halo in our little part of the world and it is widely admired! I bet your sister is enjoying all the compliments, too! I suppose there are lots of halos in some places, but we work mostly with Europeans so we don't see much bling in general.

I can hear the excitement in her voice, this is such an exciting and wonderful, although a little stressful, time for her but her wedding is just 2 months away.
