Welcome![]() It looks great by the numbers and IS - who certed it? I am curious regarding the lustre Was it an EGL lab? You can check your price under Prices at the top of the page and search by cut. Also you could drop the colour and clarity in this size diamond and go larger if you wanted - but that is a preference only, it might not be yours.

When a horse dies, the memory lives on because an enormous part of his owner's heart, soul, very existence dies also...but that can never be laid to rest, it is not meant to be... - Stephanie M Thorn |

Author: Belgarath Ia am also wondering if this classifys as a 'true' hearts and arrows? my first post has the firescope of the actual rock? it is always harder to find a "mind clean" stone than a eye clean stone. |

The diamonds numbers do add up pretty well and the price seems fair. How does the stone look to your eye? Numbers aren't the whole story. |

Hi Belgarath (I enjoyed the David Eddings books btw). Those numbers are within the AGS Ideal range. The attachment to your original post is a computer graphic generated from the IS view in DiamCalc, not an actual Ideal-Scope or Firescope photo. Is it possible you were provided with both? ![]() John |

Do you know if the DiamCalc graphic you posted is an actual 3D scan? If not it will vary from the actual diamond's reflector image, particularly with regard to optical symmetry (H&A) and minor facet configurations. An actual reflector photo (ideal-scope, Firescope, ASET) will show true configurations and light return. John |

These are generated using DiamCalc software, made by OctoNus. I may be wrong, but it seems like these were given as representing the 'actual rock.' If it matters to you, ask your seller if these were created using a 3D scan, or if he just typed the numbers into the software program. An actual scan, imported conventionally, would show the diamond in different colors. I am not trying to deter you. The listed numbers on this diamond are great. It's just important to many of us that artificial images not be represented as actual. John |
