Hey hey!!! You guys are hurting my feelings! Last fall I tried to collect pics of "natural" settings for my gemstones. Among them was this: an alex with 'colorchange' wine grapes. widget

Maybe it's my monitor but they look like regular green grapes to me, albeit with a few blemishes.

Thanks flopkins! I guess I'd better confess here....that picture was my feeble attempt to be "artistic". While they are indeed wine grapes (I'm not sure what varietal) I did 'gloss them up' a bit with cooking oil before I took the picture.... It's a vintage ring, c. 1920-30, that I got on a TV show (  ). The 1.25ct alexandrite I had mounted in it later...widget
