My Ander is getting ready to propose and I have been helping pick out a ring.  I saw the one pictured below and fell in love, but it was already sold and out of the price range of $500.  It is made by Eugene-Alfred Lelievre in about 1900.  I am looking for a similar ring, something with roughly the same shape, the yellow gold and either no stones, opals, turquoise or pearls.  The motif does not have to be exactly the same, the same shape and organic feeling.  Does anyone know where I can find an Art Nouveau ring with the same character?

also out of the $500 price range but definitely art nouveau:  http://www.faycullen.com/rings/800/cma1109r5d.html  it would also be lovely w/o a stone, imo.

not really like the picture you posted but in the general idea:  http://www.trocadero.com/serendib/items/335937/item335937.html

ditto:  http://www.trocadero.com/darmor/items/326632/item326632.html

definitely affordable but not with the same north/west orientation:  http://www.elizabethscottishjewels.com/store/product.php?productid=214&cat=0

one to lust over:  http://www.rareantiquerings.com/Rings/BoutetDeMonvelOpalRing.htm

right on the $$$ at $500 inventory number:  rg00194:  http://www.carolinesjewelry.com/artnouveau.html

and if snakes don't bother you:  http://www.adin.be/en/sh_display_2x10.asp

Thank you for the response.  What I really want is something with small delicate stones since I am so small.  Also, I have almost freakishly long thing finger so a delicate ring that is lengthwise on my finger is imperative.  What I loved about this ring but not Victorian rings is the very organic nature.  Thank you and if you see any others let me know.

yes, it is the organic nature of art nouveau that i find attractive.  i'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

One thing that you could do is take that picture to a custom jeweler. A good one would be able to replicate it almost perfectly!

My girlfriend Ann really likes Art Nouveau, so I understand how hard it can be to find the right one.

Personally, I think this one is very close and very nice... so long as the stones are replaced:

I really like it, but that's just me.

I've never even heard of Opeth, seriously.
