Got an invite today for a Hearts on Fire diamond 'cutting event' at this jewelry store in San Luis Obispo we once went into when we were visiting the area for a weekend getaway. The store is great and small, cool unique stuff--settings I didn't find elsewhere, and they are a HOF dealer. It's where we saw the Dream stone...our first diamond we really looked at!  Anyway these guys always send us stuff, but this seems pretty interesting, if we were local we'd go. The invite doesn't say anything else about what a 'cutting event' is but if anyone goes, let us know! Here is the information if anyone is interested in checking it out. San Luis Obispo is somewhat on the border of North and South CA....about 3 hour drive from Bayarea...and possibly the same from the LA area too (estimate).
