I'd appreciate any commentary on these princess diamonds. I've never bought one before. I am looking for the biggest eye-clean princess that I can find - the nicer it looks, the better, of course. I've read too many tutorials so my brain may be mush, but these seem not to be bad. The only thing I notice is that the table is a few degrees higher than ideal in both. How bad would that be? Is there anything esle? Thanks for your time. http://www.bluenile.com/diamonds_details.asp?pid=LD00382937&filter_id=0 Price: $2,073.00 Carat weight: 0.85 Cut: Very Good Color: J Clarity: SI1 Depth %: 74.4% Table %: 75% Symmetry: Very good Polish: Excellent Girdle: Thick Culet: None Fluorescence: None Measurements: 5.10 x 4.97 x 3.71 mm Length/width ratio: 1.03 http://www.bluenile.com/diamonds_details.asp?pid=LD00315760&filter_id=0 Price: $2,346.00 Cut: AGS Ideal 0 Carat weight: 0.83 Color: I Clarity: SI1 Depth %: 74.9% Table %: 75% Crown angle: 57.6 Crown %: 13.2% Pavilion angle: 45.2 Pavilion %: 59.8% Symmetry: Ideal Polish: Ideal Girdle: Thin (1.5% to 2.5%) Culet: Pointed Fluorescence: None Measurements: 5.03 x 5.02 x 3.76 mm Length/width ratio: 1.00 |

between 'very good' and an ideal ags0? easy choice! you get better color on the ags stone as well.

Is the price reasonable, or at least not unreasonable? I had a hard time finding diamonds in my price range, and want to make sure I get what I pay for.

Thanks Belle. It seems you don't think there is much of a problem with the table being 75%? Does the ideal cutting override that? Several posts here mention 62-68% as ideal but above 72% could be a problem...
