When my bf bought the diamond it was $1.57 & if he were to have bought it today, would have saved almost $700 Can. If you need to check daily exchange rates, go to: www.bankofcanada.ca/en find Currency & click on quick converter. Actually, this site is great for everyone cause you can pick & choose what currency you want to work with. I use it often. When my bf went to wire the money, the exchange was exactly as it appeared on the Bank of Canada site so I'm thinking the rate is for what you would buy it for as opposed to selling. Just an FYI kind of thread. :-) Judy :-)
