moolie26 Rough Rock Total Posts: 17 Last Post: 8/3/2003 Member Since: 1/21/2003	Was wondering who sells nice engagement ring pillow/boxes...Something like the Harry Winston box that opens from the top to expose the ring. I'm not that fond of the the wood, looking for something more modern. Any ideas???

I found antique ring boxes in great shape that were beautiful, some as little as $40. Another idea might be to buy a collectible little box, buy the ring foam & cover it with velvet, her favorite color of course. How about collecting dating keepsakes, ticket stubs, ribbons, small pressed flowers, etc., and decopage (sp) them onto a ring box? OK, maybe that's a little far out there, but enjoy the search & be creative. Remember, if you find the perfect antique box & it has a jeweler's name in it that you don't want, gently recover it with satin or velvet. Have fun & good luck! Some days a diamond, some days a stone
