I found a band I really like called the Platinum Ridged Contour Setting at Blue Nile but it is only available with a ring. Does anyone know where I can find something similar? I saw the X-prong Vatche that is nice but it doesn't have the ridges. The link is: http://www.bluenile.com/product_details.asp?oid=356&catid=7&filter_id=0&nav1=settings_channel.asp&page=1&col=2&row=3&pos=8&set_shape= -Greg

That is a very pretty setting, and since you have me interested in it now, I did a little snooping of my own. This is how I went about finding it. In my search engine, I typed: Ridged contour setting. And I believe it was the very first one listed that pulled it up. They had it listed for I believe $255.00. I want to say it was titled: Diamond solitare ring:engagment ring:Great price dazzling diamond. Something like that. It was actually in Diamond.com, but I couldn't find that particular setting that way. Let me know if you find it, if not, I'll come up with something. Good luck!
If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all :O) |

Sometimes Blue Nile will sell the setting without the diamond for a slightly higher price...

OK, I feel pretty stupid. Searching on it's name was a darn good idea! The one you found was not quite it but you inspired me to search some more and here it is (for a lower price too ) !http://www.jewelrybestbuy.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=detail&id=145830&product=1889 -Greg

That looks like a stock peice actually. I have been to so many sites Greg I'd have to go digging around for all the websites. Also, check with Greg @ ringdesigner.com He does custom work & has fair pricing. Plus his peices can be as chunky/substantial as you like. He's a nice guy to talk to as well. Judy :-) I was set to go with him but chose to just buy from the designer as I liked the peice as is without changes. His pricing is very fair.

Hi. I found a similar setting at Dirt Cheap Diamonds who is one of the listed vendors of this site. It's Platinum for $425! Not bad, eh? http://www.dirtcheapdiamonds.com/ring-detail.cfm?id=1013
