I am so happy, I finally found a jeweler that would sell me a setting even though I didn't purchase the diamond from them. Now I need adivce on which setting to go with. I will also be purchasing the matching wedding bands. 1. https://www.whiteflash.com/golden-wardrobe/gold_details.aspx?itemcode=DN-1395 2. https://www.whiteflash.com/golden-wardrobe/gold_details.aspx?itemcode=WF-Pr89R24D-Pt My stone is a 1.24 marquise that is deep 69.3, VS2, H. It looks like a .95 to 1.00 stone. Thank you. DiaLil Love them diamonds |

I like the second one. It's very pretty.

they are both very pretty but I think the second one would just look stunning swooping up to the marquise.

Of the two choices, I personally like the second one. The cathedral setting is nice. Plus the overall style of the ring makes a classy statement. Good luck. I'm glad you found someone to work with you that has what you want. " src="http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/images/smilies/36.gif" align=absMiddle border=0>

My concern is the #2 setting will over power my marguise. Thank you. DiaLil |

Refresh our memory - how big is the marquise again? Since the second setting swoops upward so much, the stone will seem like it's held higher up than it might in the first setting. The stones tend to look even bigger in this perspective, so I don't think it would overpower your stone. I prefer #2 as well!!

My marquise is a VS2, H color, 1.24, but the not so good measurements of 9.77x5.44x3.78, and depth of 69.3 make it look like a .90 to 1.00 size. I just spoke with Celina at WF and she said the ering is 3mm and the etband is 2mm. Thank you DiaLil |

I like #2 if they can set that basket lower. The side view has it set much too high.
