I am trying to get a second ring made for my girl that would hold a ruby and I saw your ring and thought "this is perfect!" Please, if you don't mind me asking you a feew questions on it, I would SO appreciate it! That ring is a killer! Thanks a ton!!!!!!!!!

Hey leadfoot, I'm sure Jazmine will chime in as soon as she sees this. In the mean time you can see her thread with all the info about her ring and a ton of pics here

Thanks Mrssalvo for the link! ![]() I have starred and gawked for a loooong time! That ring is beautiful! And it has those arm-things that meet the halo, something that I've rarely come across when trying to put this ring together! I'm curious as to the size of the stones she used in the band and around the halo. And who she talked to when designing the ring! And if she would be so kind as to allow me to use her ring as an inspiration for my new project! Gorgeous ring! ps: you all have been so kind to me!! Your opinions and suggestions are never overlooked, thank you for being so great!!! Thank you for posting your pictures of your rings, and helping me design the best ring I can!!!

Hi Leadfoot! Wow, how nice of you. I don't mind answering any questions at all. The ring is a custom WF ring and I worked with Bob from that company. I drew up some pics and and also emailed him some pictures of some rings that had aspects I liked. The ring has 1.70 carat ACA diamonds in it. They range in size from 1.2 to 1.5 mm. The ring is plat. The extact size of the melee will depend on the size of the center stone that you use. I think a ruby would look great for this ring. It would make very cocktail-ish and perfect for a RHR. Please let me know if you have any other questions.![]() PS: Is your ruby a marquise cut?

I would think that with a cushion, the setting would look alot like the Tiffany Legacy. My ring is basically a legacy with graduated sides made for a marquise. The key is to get both a halo and a collar. See this pic, especially the side view, which was used to create my ring.![]()
