Hello... I realize that this probably way to "wide open" to get a straight answer, but any input would be appreciated... my girlfriend really likes the Tiffany "ribbon ring" (at least I think that is what it is called)... I see on the website that is starts at around $3,000...I assume that is tiny, not very clear, etc??  I realize that there is so much that goes into buying a diamond. My problem is that I don't want to go over $10,000... she always said that she would rather have a clear diamond than a big one. Realistically, can I expect to get much of a Tiffany ring for this price or should I look elsewhere? Thanks for any input.

ditto.

there are lots of different opinions here on Tiffany's and the premium. One thing you can count on is they will provide you with a nice stone, maybe not the superideal best out there but it will be nice. they don't go below I color or VS2 clarity, if that's what your worried about. We don't know much about their cuts which is one reason why folks prefer to shop elsewhere where you can get a ideal cut stone that may look better than a tiffany without the Tiffany Premium. 10K is a nice budget, if you GF must have that ring, I'm sure it would be fabulous.

Hi Ben,

Usually the prices Tiffany quotes on their site is for the setting (not the centerstone). But I agree with below - checkout the RockyTalk forum to get help.
