SO I just got my ring insured by CHUBB ...the ring appraised for $20,000 and the cost of the policy was $390. Brewer and Lord is owned by Citizens Bank (but I understand that the bank has sold the insurance division). My clients have had excellent results purchasing stand alone Chubb policies through Brewer and Lord. It's probably a good place to start your search if you live in Massachusetts.
