Hi everyone, Tim from GoodOldGold has found me an emerald cut. I have it reserved. Do you guys think it looks good? Here is the link: http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/2056 Note that the table% is a typo. The GIA report shows the accurate one. Opinions are appreciated. Cheers EmeraldSeeker

That is a really pretty EC- I love the angles and the cut corners. I say go for it!

My only concern is that the table is at 85% and the crown % is less than 10%....I don't know how that will affect the overall performance of the diamond.

table % on GOG is a typo

table is actually 66%, a 10% crown is more critical on asschers than EC that one has a fairly shallow pavilion that matches up well with the shallowish side crown. Should show a lot of fire and the light return is excellent. With a deep pavilion it would be more of an issue. ........... Karl has joined the diamond trade and is now posting as Karl_K |
